Datasets update log: 1. Discontinuities appear at near-water-body pixels (Jun 10, 2024 by Siyuan Shen (s.siyuan@wustl.edu) @ Washington University in St. Louis) Some discontinuities may occur at near-water-body pixels in previous dataset. The issue was caused by incorrectly loading the coarse shapefile and was fixed on Jun 10, 2024. The updated files have the version name of V6.GL.02.02. (The version name was changed from V6.GL.02-a on Jun 17, 2024. V6.GL.02.02 and V6.GL.02-a are identical datasets.) 2. The cropped datasets of some areas are uploaded and the variable names are updated (Jul 7, 2024 by Siyuan Shen (s.siyuan@wustl.edu) @ Washington University in St. Louis) To make the data more accessible to users interested in specific regions, we cropped the data for North America, Europe, and Asia, and changed the variable names of longitude and latitude from latitude and longitude to lat and lon (consistent with the dimension names), which solved the problem that our data can not be loaded properly in some cases. 3. V6.GL.02.03 was uploaded (Apr 19, 2025 by Siyuan Shen (s.siyuan@wustl.edu) @ Washington University in St. Louis). We extend the time coverage to 2023 in this version. The data for prior years (e.g., 2022) have also changed slightly during this update, so if you are conducting analyses for multiple years and already downloaded V6.GL.02.02, we recommend downloading V6.GL.02.03 for those earlier years as well to ensure consistency. 4. Updates on V6.GL.02.04 (Jun 23, 2025 by Siyuan Shen (s.siyuan@wustl.edu) @ Washington University in St. Louis). Some of our users reported some abnormally low values in certain circumstances. We update the V6.GL.02.04 with stronger geophysical constraints and another padding strategy in our structure, which should resolve this issue.
